CIMA Care GmbH publishes some of its content under an open licence so that partners, health workers, and educators can reuse it. This page explains what is covered, what is not, and how to give credit.
Licensed content
Blog posts, web stories, and educational media published by CIMA Care Health Academy are licensed under Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0).
Each published item carries its own licence notice. Where an item's own notice differs from this page, the notice on that item applies.
What the licence allows
- Share — copy and redistribute in any medium or format
- Adapt — remix, transform, translate, and build upon the material
Under these terms
- Attribution — you must give appropriate credit, link to the licence, and indicate if changes were made
- NonCommercial — you may not use the material for commercial purposes
- ShareAlike — if you remix, transform, translate, or build upon the material, you must distribute your contribution under the same licence
Content not covered
The following is not licensed under CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 and remains all rights reserved. Separate written permission is required.
- The CIMA platform and application, including its user interface, screenshots, and source code
- The CIMA and CIMA Care names, logos, and other trade marks
- Trade marks, logos, and names of partner, funding, academic, and media organisations appearing anywhere on this website
- Third-party and licensed stock text, images, audio, and video appearing within otherwise licensed content
- Photographs of identifiable individuals, where consent was given for a specific purpose
Where an individual item is excluded, it is marked at the point it appears.
How to attribute
Include the title, the author and CIMA Care Health Academy, a link to the original, and a link to the licence. For example:
"[Title of post]" by [Author Name], CIMA Care Health Academy, licensed under CC BY-NC-SA 4.0. [Link to original]
If you translated or adapted the material, say so, and publish your version under CC BY-NC-SA 4.0.

Press, publications, and presentations
Material in the Media section — press coverage, journal publications, and conference presentations — is not covered by this licence. Much of it was produced or published by third parties, or is subject to publisher and co-author rights. Reuse enquiries should go to the original publisher, or to the contact above.
